Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This page explains what personal data deeshalifestyle.in collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have, in plain English. Read it together with our Terms of Use.

In short

  • We collect what you type into a loan or insurance enquiry form, what you tell our team when they call you back, and basic technical details.
  • We use it only to reply to your enquiry. We don’t sell it, and we don’t send you offers you didn’t ask for.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, at any time: support@deeshalifestyle.in.

1. Who we are

Deesha Lifestyle (“we”, “us”) runs deeshalifestyle.in. Deesha Lifestyle is run by Deepa Sharma. WorkSocial India is our finance brand: loan and insurance enquiries sent through this site are handled under that name, by our own team.

We decide why and how your personal data is used, so under Indian law we are responsible for it (the law calls this the “data fiduciary”).

This policy covers the pages on deeshalifestyle.in, and the calls, WhatsApp messages, SMS and emails our team sends you about an enquiry you made here. It does not cover other websites or apps, including other sites we link to and our Deesha Labs AI assistant at labs.deeshalifestyle.in.

Address: C-1-2, West Vinod Nagar, Delhi 110092

2. What we collect

You can browse the site without giving us any personal details. Here is everything we collect, and when.

When you send a loan enquiry

  • Required: your name, mobile number, loan type and loan amount.
  • Optional: your city, loan tenure, monthly income, employment type (salaried or self-employed) and any message you write.

When you send an insurance enquiry

  • Required: your name, mobile number and insurance type.
  • Optional: your email address, cover amount, date of birth, whether you already have a policy, and any message you write.

Please don’t put medical details in the message box. If you choose to tell us about a health condition, we treat it as sensitive personal data and use it only to reply to your enquiry.

When you agree to be contacted

Neither form can be sent until you tick its consent box. When you do, we also store the date and time, the version of the consent text on the form, your IP address and your browser’s “user agent” (a short text that names your browser and device). We keep these so we can show when and how you agreed.

When our team calls you back

To answer your enquiry, our team may ask a few more questions, such as your employer or your existing loans, and note your answers in our internal system. If you decide to apply, the bank, NBFC or insurer will ask for its own documents, such as PAN, Aadhaar or income proof. We will tell you who is asking for each document and why.

When you visit any page

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, the page you asked for and the time, so the site can run and stay secure. Each page also loads a small script from our sign-in provider, Clerk, so your browser connects to Clerk’s servers and Clerk receives your IP address and browser details, even if you never sign in. Clerk also stores a few small items in your browser; see Cookies and browser storage.

When you create an account or sign in

Anyone can create an account through our sign-in box, but for now only our own team can use anything behind it. Accounts are handled by Clerk, which processes your email address, username, password and, if you give it, your name. If you sign in with Google, Facebook or LinkedIn, Clerk also receives the profile details that service shares with it.

What our forms don’t ask for

Our forms don’t ask for bank account or card details, Aadhaar, PAN, passwords or your precise location, and we don’t take payments on this site.

3. How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry: WorkSocial India contacts you about it by call, WhatsApp or SMS, or by email if you gave us an email address.
  • To keep a record of your enquiry and our follow-ups in our internal system, which only our signed-in admin team can open.
  • To keep the site secure, stop spam and misuse, and fix problems.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We contact you only about the enquiry you sent. We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t send you offers for other products unless you ask. No computer program makes decisions about you: a person on our team reads every enquiry. If you apply for a loan, the lender will check your credit report as part of its own process.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers who run the site for us

These companies process data to provide their service to us:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and keeps its server logs.
  • Neon (through Vercel): the database where enquiries are stored.
  • Clerk: accounts, sign-in and security. Its script loads on every page.
  • Google Workspace: our email, including support@deeshalifestyle.in.

Apps we use to talk to you

When we call, SMS, WhatsApp or email you, those messages go through your phone network, WhatsApp (run by Meta) or Google. They also apply their own privacy policies.

Banks, NBFCs, insurers and partners

Today your enquiry stays with our own team. To get you a loan or a policy, we may need to send your details to a bank, NBFC, insurer or another partner. Before we do, we will tell you who it is going to and ask for your permission.

When the law requires it

We may share data when a law, court order or government authority requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.

6. Where it’s stored and how it’s protected

Our service providers may store and process data on servers outside India. We only transfer data in ways Indian law allows.

  • The whole site runs over HTTPS, so what you type into a form is encrypted on its way to us.
  • Only our signed-in admin team can see enquiries.
  • We collect only what we need to reply to you.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we are handling your enquiry, and afterwards only for as long as we need them for follow-up, our records or legal reasons. When we no longer need them, or you ask us to delete them, we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period.

8. Cookies and browser storage

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other websites.

Our sign-in provider, Clerk, sets a few small cookies (with names such as __client_uat and ones starting with __clerk) and one item in your browser’s local storage on every page. These are needed for sign-in to work and stay secure, even if you never sign in.

You can block or clear them in your browser settings. Browsing will still work, but signing in may not. Our fonts are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn’t contact Google.

9. Your rights

We give you these rights now, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (whose rights provisions come into force in stages). You can ask us to:

  • give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we did with it, and who we shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
  • let someone you nominate use these rights for you if you die or can no longer act for yourself.

To ask, email support@deeshalifestyle.in with the subject “Privacy request”, and tell us the mobile number you used on the form. If you have the reference number from your enquiry (for example #A1B2C3), include it, since it helps us find your record quickly. We may ask a question to confirm it’s really you before we share or change anything.

10. Grievance Officer

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer:

Name: Arun Singh

Email: arun.singh@deeshalifestyle.in (subject: “Grievance”)

Phone: +91 797 02 02 797

Hours: Mon–Sat, 10am – 7pm IST

Post: C-1-2, West Vinod Nagar, Delhi 110092

We will resolve your grievance within 30 days of receiving it.

Once the relevant provisions of the DPDP Act are in force, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India, after first raising it with us.

11. Children

Our enquiry forms are for adults (18 or over). If you are under 18, please don’t send an enquiry. If we learn that we have collected a child’s data without a parent’s or guardian’s consent, we will delete it.

12. Other websites

Some links open other websites, such as EarnWithEMI.com for financial calculators. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

On links to EarnWithEMI.com we add tags to the web address (starting with utm_) so it can see that the visit came from our site and which button was used. These tags don’t contain any personal information.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change affects how we use enquiry details you have already given us, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
