Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use deeshalifestyle.in (the “site”), which is run by Deesha Lifestyle (“we”, “us”). Deesha Lifestyle is run by Deepa Sharma. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.

• Information and ideas on travel, shopping, community and personal finance.
• Loan and insurance enquiry forms, handled by our finance brand, WorkSocial India.
• Links to free financial calculators on EarnWithEMI.com, a separate website.

Some sections are marked “coming soon” and are not available yet. We may add, change or remove features at any time. Browsing the site and sending an enquiry are free.

• We are not a bank, NBFC or insurance company. We don’t lend money, take deposits or issue insurance policies.
• An enquiry is not a loan application or an insurance proposal, and it is not an offer. Any loan or policy is decided by the lender or insurer, on their own terms and after their own checks. We can’t promise approval, an interest rate, a premium or a timeline.
• Calculator results are estimates, not guaranteed returns. Investments can go down as well as up, and past returns don’t promise future ones.
• Our money tips are general information, not investment, tax or legal advice. For advice on your own situation, speak to a qualified, registered adviser.

Stay safe: we will never ask you to tell us an OTP, PIN or password, and we will never ask you to pay us to get a loan. If a bank or insurer sends you an OTP, type it only into their own app or website yourself. If someone asks for these in the name of Deesha Lifestyle or WorkSocial India, it is a fraud: don’t pay, report it at cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930, and tell us at support@deeshalifestyle.in. Not sure a call is really from us? Email us the number that called you and we’ll confirm.

When you use the site, you agree that:

• you are 18 or over if you send an enquiry;
• the details you send are true and are your own; don’t submit someone else’s details without their permission;
• you won’t misuse the site, for example by sending spam or fake enquiries, using bots to fill in forms, trying to break in or disrupt the site, or copying its content in bulk;
• you won’t use the site for anything unlawful.

We may block or limit access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Anyone can create an account through our sign-in box, but for now only our own team can use anything behind it; other account types are marked “coming soon”. Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The site’s text, design, graphics and logos, and the names “Deesha Lifestyle” and “WorkSocial India”, belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, sell or reuse our content for other purposes without our written permission. Other companies’ names belong to their owners.

Some links open other websites, such as EarnWithEMI.com. They are separate websites with their own terms and privacy policies, and these terms don’t cover them.

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we can’t promise that everything is complete, current or free of errors. Prices, rules, timings and seasons change, so please check important details, such as travel timings or tax rules, with the official source before you rely on them.

We provide the site “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for losses from decisions you make based on general information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them or the site will be handled by the courts at Delhi, India.
